It addition, it promotes a process of education and reconciliation between Native and non-Native peoples. Email RTE if you would prefer to have printed copies of this piece mailed to you.
- Return to the Earth Study Guide
The 40-page study guide is primarily designed for use by individuals and groups within religious communities so that they might study a key restorative justice issue of Native American tribes and nations: repatriation (the return of human remains and other cultural objects to Native Americans). Its authors aim to educate, challenge and enliven creative action in their readers.
NOTE: The study guide contains out-of-date contact information. Please use the current Info@Return2theEarth.org email address and Return2theEarth.org web address rather than the contact information used in the study guide.
It may be beneficial for the leader(s) of your study group to read this guide in advance and to engage in research with Native Americans and Return to the Earth representatives before working as a group. This guide stands on its own, but it will be most effectively used when non-Native and Native communities engage in discussions and activities together or concurrently. It is important to go beyond the text and build relationships to make the most of this study guide. Email RTE if you would prefer to have printed copies of this piece mailed to you.
